Hi there! I’m a technologist by day, aspiring cook by night, and this is my blog. I’m a Brit, an identical twin and originally from Stevenage in Hertfordshire (or as my wife calls it ‘St. Evenage’) . We were very lucky to have the opportunity back in 2009 to move to the USA and we find ourselves “living the dream” in the ‘bubble’, otherwise known as Orange County, Southern California. I have a wonderful family, my wife Claire, our three boys, Harry, Ben and Charlie and two dogs, Lucy a miniature Schnauzer and Max – well the best way to describe him is – “a bit of a mix”.

So just how did I come to create this blog?
We were entertaining one day, as the only way one can in So. Cal, a BBQ of course! Our friends who love my food and in particular my Salad said that a should really start to blog about my passion, Grub and Booze of course, so here it is!
