Tip Tuesday: Making a Balsamic Glaze

Grubandbooze logoHey everyone and welcome to Tip Tuesday’s each week. Yep you guessed it on a Tuesday, GrubandBooze will be publishing one short tip related to food or of course booze – what else!

Today’s Tuesday Tip

How many times have you been to a restaurant and had something with a Balsamic Glaze drizzled across the top. Ever wondered how its made?

Its really simple, take 1.5 cups of Balsamic Vinegar, and stir in 3 tablespoons of honey. Bring to the boil and reduce down for about 10 mins. Allow to cool in the refrigerator and you have your glaze. The longer you leave in the fridge the thicker it will become. It should keep covered in the fridge for around a week. It goes fantastically well with my Strawberry and Tomato Bruschetta appetizer.
