Hey everyone and welcome to Tip Tuesday’s each week. Yep you guessed it on a Tuesday, GrubandBooze will be publishing one short tip related to food or of course booze – what else!

Want to keep Banana’s for longer

Have you suffered from banana’s going brown very quickly? Some tricks to keep them fresher for longer.

  1. Never keep fresh banana’s with older ones, the newer ones will ripen quicker
  2. Wrap the banana’s (where they join together) in tin foil, it will keep them fresher for longer

You’re probably peeling you banana’s incorrectly too.banana

You should never peel a banana from the stalk end (where they join to each other) as it crushes the end of the banana. Peel it from the other end instead!

And finally.

If your banana’s do go brown, try making banana bread instead of throwing them away!
